Extra-curricular Activities and Educational Tours
Extra-Curricular Activities
By providing a wide choice of clubs and extra-curricular activities,
we are able to arouse interests for discovery and artistic expression
among the pupils. From the choir and Drama Society on the one hand
to the Girl Guides, Scouts and JETS on the other hand, pupils are
readily able to interact with others on a different footing from
that of the classroom.
Educational Tours
The school arranges educational trips and tours as a means of
supplementing what is learned in the classroom. Our pupils are regularly
taken to places relevant to their lessons or mentioned in their
textbooks.
It is our present policy that each class should go on at least
one such educational trips per term. The places visit range from
hydroelectric power stations to farms, factories and other installations.
In addition, we arrange four major visits each year: Grade Six pupils
visit one of Zambia's national parks, while Grade Seven pupils travel
to the Victoria Falls region. Grade Nine pupils are taken to South
Africa, and Grade Twelve visits Namibia.
